I will probably hunt 1 or 2 times a week exept for thanksgiving and Chirstmas holidays and I will hunt a good bit during them.

Well guys, just got back from my first hunting (instead of working) trip to the farm in Kentucky. I struck out this time. I saw several smaller bucks, with the biggest being a 120" 8 point. The bigger bucks that I've got on camera didn't show up like I had planned. I took my Dad with me and we were able to get a doe in range and he put the Bama smackdown on her! It was awesome to see him that excited! It's been years and years since he was able to kill a deer with bow and I'm glad that he felt up to going with me. He suffers from vascularitis and has more pain filled bad days than good days. God was gracious! I will be headed back up week after next to pick back up on the trail of the Kentucky wallhangers.

How you guys doing? Slow weekend of hunting here around home. I'm headed back to Kentucky late this week maybe the temps will be cooler than last time and get the bucks on their feet.

I've got alot of promising pictures but with all we've been goin through the last week hunting is the last thing on my mind.I'll get out and hunt a little next weekend maybe.

Whatever name ya'll decide on is fine by me. All I know is I'm headed to Kentucky in 3 days and I've got an itchy trigger finger and lots of promising pictures!!! Hope you kill a damn 40 point.Good luck..BTW..How much do you guys actually hunt?I'm in the woods usually 7 days a week.I'm self employed and work slows down in the winter time so I'm in the woods ALOT. Just saw this reply from you. . . . I'm a weekend warrior except for the few days of vacation I have left each year for hunting.

Good deal outlaw.  I'm hoping work slows down a little this week so I can get my butt in the woods.I got in early 1 day last week and got to sit in the stand for about an hour.Seen 1 doe with a fawn so she got a pass.

Y'all had any luck yet?I been seeing a good many does but that's it.Just wondering if y'all had been seeing anything.If I don't get us a buck this weekend I may go ahead and get us a doe for some more points.I need some meat in the freezer anyway.

I've got a few bow killed does. But ain't seen a buck worth dragging around home. Hope it all changes Friday. I'll be back in Kentucky again. This time with a rifle in hand! Last time I was up there I missed a dandy of an 8 point and the reports I'm getting from the lease are that the bucks are still chasing like there's no tomorrow. Last year Thanksgiving weekend in Kentucky was kind to me (killed a 130" 10 point) I'm hoping for similar results this time.

Well, I didn't score a buck in Kentucky this time but I was able get my dad on one. I will post pics and the story later tonight if I get a chance. My dad killing one means more to me than if I had killed a truck load! Awesome stuff!

Finally got a buck on the ground this morning. Decent 9 point. All luck! I hadnt seen a single deer the other 2 times I've been to that spot this season.

Heck yea...Great buck..I gotta play alotta catchup.I been working so much I ain't had a whole lotta time to hunt.Only pulled the trigger once and that was on a yote.Did y'all take pics with the time/date username and team name on a piece of paper or something? I think that's mandatory to enter the deer for the team.
