cleaned 81 had a ball my bird dog picked up 5 or 6 for me (my 4 year old daughter sydney)she loved it forgot the camera so i couldnt take pics sorry

Picked up seven. Lost three or four more in the woods. Shot a box and a half of shells (actually a pretty good average for me). Had a blast!
Seven year old son Grant asked to go at the last minute. I figured that would be the END of any hunting. I could hear it in my head before we got there. "I'm hot/cold/wet/hungry/bored/tired........etc".
Couldn't have been more wrong. He had a blast. He picked up my birds and helped our nearest neighbor. Stayed till five thirty or so and when he decided he'd finally had enough I took out for the truck immediately. He was such a good sport about everything I figured he deserved not to wait too long.
One of the best hunting days I've ever had. Mainly because of how often he told me how much fun he was having.

Mine was bad as well. Owner said birds were there a few days ago. Same story just a different year.

I got two limits and didn't fire a shot.
Every time one flew overhead I just looked at it and it fell stone dead.
I wasn't really hunting, though. I was just bird watching.

We did real well. I got 11 plus a couple I couldn't find. Our field was "inspected" by an uninvited visitor and it passed the test, glad to see I didn't get all the people I invited in trouble!

My dad and I hunted over a great fresh picked corn field, and didn't kill a single bird.  There were lots of hunts around us, and nobody was shooting. I ended the day with one disappointed dog. Had fun hanging out though

We had a great time. Didn't kill but a few birds, but my 7 year old and his best friend both shot their first birds and that made it the best hunt I have been on.

Had a great hunt, the weather was much cooler than usual, and that kept the birds at the field. My 8 yr old son killed his first 6 ever, and my 11 yr old daughter killed her first 7 ever, my 12 yr old niece killed 6, and 14 yr old nephew killed the limit. All of the adults also limited. But the best thing was all of the family being together cooking out, and hunting together. God Is Good!!!

They weren't flying at our place. My son killed 2 but we had a blast.
