Hey Richard Cranium, I wasn't being a jackleg when I asked who is John Galt... It is the theme of the book Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. Read the book, it was written in the 40s I believe but there are a lot of parallels to what is going on in our current political / economic environment. Anyway,

Drew is correct. Atlas Shrugged is a wonderful book. Disclaimer: I did not shoot this deer or have any affiliation with the harvesting of this trophy. This is truely a beautiful deer with superior genetics for south Alabama.

i have to disagree. i killed an 8 point in 07' with my rifle that scored 146 and change and netted out at 140 3/8. i've seen bigger as well just couldn't shoot them....

Look at it this way, 18 inch beams, Gs'6,11,9,7&3(36), Cs' 5,4,3&2(14)total and total of one side is 18+36+14=68 If semetrical 2x68=136 and say 20 inch spreed is still only 156inches. It takes a lot of "bone" to make over 150 inches.

talking about 12 points, my dad had his 12 point scored by buckmasters and score over 140. redneck count had it at 17 points. Doesnt buckmasters leave out a spread count though or somethin?
i think of a turkey as an Angel who sings on high that blesses me each and every morning the thrill of listening to his preaching!
