I found this foodplot mix on Archery Talk. I was wondering if anybody has tried it? It sounds pretty good. Fall Foundation Mix

Two problems.
#1 Spring anything. Winter oats are best for winter plots.
#2 Clover and any other small seeds in the mix would get covered too deep and never come up. Always buy clover, brassicas seeds separate and spread them after large seeds have been covered. They are so small birds won't bother them and rain will cover them properly.I don't know how small radish seeds are.
I love to plant Austrian winter peas. Looks like an aweful lot of seeds per plot. I always made my own mixes and included rape, kale and some Biologic Maximum along with several clovers, winter peas, chickory and winter oats.
