Hey Buckrot,im actually shooting around a 320 gpi,my arrows are cut at 25',shooting PSE X weave 300 which are 8.8 gpi. i wanted to get as much speed as i could and by cutting down my arrows to 25' made my bow shoot 348 fps(shot thru chrono at the pro shop several times,just to see how fast it was)i dont have any problems shooting my setup,its smoking fast and relatively quiet,the arrows shoot flat and tru,this things a booger on my target out to 40 yards. this has to be the best bow ive ever shot,smooth,lightweight,and really fast.

Ooops....i meant 320 grain arrow,and not 320 gpi.

well I have about an 03 model Hoyt MT Sport. Its only about about 50 something pounds and I Have no idea what the speed is but i Have taken 2 deer with it. its only a 26.5" draw and I use one pin up to 20 yards and another one up to 30. wont shoot past that

The arrows will fly faster the closer you are to the equator. And it helps if you shoot against the rotation of the earth. A full moon pull is also an extra bonus.

I also hear if you rub them down with some 10W40 before your hunt you'll pick up at least another 40 fps.

it can travel at half the speed of smell, as long as its quiet and everything goes like it should, you'll have a dead deer waiting on you...
