I've been using a whisker biscut for a while but for the last couple of years it's been bothering me that I can hear my gold tip arrows faintly scratch as I draw back. I feel that if I can hear it then so can the deer. Anyways, I'm thinking about going with a drop away and wanted to get opinions on what you guys prefer.

The QAD Ultra-Rest Pro is the best I've used so far.

Trophy Taker. It is simple and all steel contruction + a drop away. Works great!

I use the Kaz Away rest by Vital Bow Gear. The thing I love about it is that it has two arms that hold the arrow shaft when the bow is at rest. You can turn your bow sideways or upside down and shake it and the arrow will not move at all. You can lay your bow across your lap up in the tree if you like. When you draw the bow the rest rises up into the shooting positon and then the two arms holding the arrow open. If you fire it drops quickly clear of your arrow. But if you need to let back down? The two arms close back on the arrow and the whole rest then lowers back down to the resting position. Whole process is silent as the grave too. The draw cord on it also attaches to your cable slide and not the bow string which I like.

I have used a WB rest like you mentioned in the past as well. It has it's good points and bad. The best thing about it to me was the security of knowing your arrow was not coming off the rest no matter what. Well I'm telling here is a rest that gives you all the advantages of a drop away and yet retains the thing I liked best about the WB. That's what sold me on it and it has performed flawlessly for 2 years now in the field and through hundreds and hundreds of practice shots.

I switched from the WB to a trophy ridge dropzone. I have a trophy taker extreme top slot rest on my new alphamax. I like it!

I used the QAD and liked it. But I switched to the Limbdriver last year and had/have no issues/complaints with it.

I did like how you could put the QAD in the upright/locked position. Where as you can't do that with the limbdriver.

Those would be my 2 choices.

Same here. Have one on each of my bows with thousands and thousands of shots through em. They work like a charm.
