The other day, my Girlfriend and me were out at a place we frequent often. The waitress who knows us asked, y'all never sit next to each other. Always across from each other. I just said, it's easier to talk that way. Don't most couples sit across? We always sit across. Easier to talk that way, and have more room. Also, it ain't the server's business to ask about stuff like that. Same as it's not the checkout person's business to ask about my groceries, or why I'm buying 10 Monster or Celcius drinks, or anything else. Do your job and MYOB.

I guess I figure now at 65 years old, as much stupid shit that I have done in my life getting in fights, pissing people off, being out late in questionable places, if God wanted to take me out he's had ample opportunities and if he wants to take me out now a 9mm pocket pistol ain't going to stop him. I do it not so much for me but for the ones I love that are with me. Again... Everyone has their own comfort level and I personally respect that, but just a genuine curiosity question, because I know even Churches have their own "security people" in the congregation that either clandestinely or "officially" carry in Church for this reason. I have struggled with this question for a long time, because as a man we feel it is not just our responsibility to defend ourselves and the people we love and the stuff we have accumulated, but it is also our responsibility to seek vengeance on transgressors. The question is: Is God powerful enough to take care of the ones he loves? If so, then who are we to concern ourselves with it? If not where does His power end and at what point do we say, it is our responsibility to take matters into our own hands? I guess David could have just kept tending to the sheep and let God handle Goliath. Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and do nothing.

There was a drive by at the Gadsden Waffle House last weekend. I was nowhere near Gadsden and you can't prove otherwise.
