A good friend is considering retiring to Costa Rica
They’ve traveled the world and that’s their choice. Just gotta leave every 6 months for a day Your friends need to visit there in April before they make their decision. Last time I was down there fishing, our group decided to book an April trip. When we flew into Liberia the only green vegetation was on the coast. The rest was dry as a popcorn fart. It was like being in Texas in August with the humidity of coastal Louisiana. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Did you go into the mountains?

I’d worry about the rule of law in other countries. It’s all fun and games until you have legal trouble or get accused of something you didn’t do.

That was always my plan as well but life changed several yrs ago. My plan was to move back to.panama and retire as well. Who knows it may still happen one day.

Go for it... I enjoyed my 28yrs military time seeing and living in different places. I like hunting too much to move to any place now that limits my hunting and puts me too far from my immediate family. With over 80 million acres of public lands to hunt in the PNW, I'm set and have ZERO club dues.
