I know there are other threads about this but I was just thinking…..it used to be a big deal for me to buy a $800 gun….actually still is. Today that will get me 4 tanks of fuel in a pickup truck. Station next to my house jumped $.70 per gallon this evening. Nothing like working to be able to buy fuel to work… sorry for the rant

A Trump campaign promise was $2 gas, yes I’ll give the benefit of the doubt and say that was in reference to 87 octane.
Semi trucks(6-8MPG depending on truck/load) are now burning at/near $1 in fuel per 1 mile, that definitely won’t cause inflation to go up.

Luckily I have a work vehicle to drive so my diesel is staying parked for now. It’s ridiculous how high diesel is at the moment.

Only if the people selling them can afford to take a loss.

I ended up getting a fuel transfer tank for my truck because of the fuel prices closest to my house. Prices are routinely .75- /$1.00 higher per gallon for diesel in shorter. I think diesel was $5.88 this morning. I try to fill up in Montgomery or at buccees in Auburn.

Maybe this will curb some of the ding dong mommies and hang dog daddies from buying $80,000 turbo diesel trucks to haul little Johnny’s t-ball gear from their $500,000 house in the subdivision where they don’t even have enough room to park two cars.

I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.

I bought my first diesel truck in 96 and fuel was under a dollar a gallon. My last diesel truck was ten years later and it was almost four dollars a gallon.

I remember .15 a gallon. We used to pour it on burn piles. It was considered a waste byproduct of refining

Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts, hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

Diesel has NEVER been considered a waste byproduct of refining. It's always been a primary product off the tower.

Y'all just making schitt up now.
