Politics is a pendulum. It swings one way that party screws it up so it swings the other way and that party screws it up so it swings back so that party can screw it up some more. They are all overspending and screwing over the future of the country. Trump has done some good things and I'm sure happier with him than I would have been with Kamala, but he is handing it right back to the democrats as I feared he would.

I'm just to the point where I feel that common people like us have zero representation in our federal government.........and probably never will again. I've accepted it and reserved myself to just doing the best I can with what I'm dealt and not let the worry of it steal my happiness. Some will see that as a defeatist attitude but I look at them and see where they are just making themselves miserable and not enjoying life. I'm doing my best to "choose happy".
"Happiness is not found in controlling the uncontrollable but in mastering our own responses."
The true mark of a man is not how he conducts himself during times of prosperity, but how he conducts himself during times of adversity.

We are in an age of voting for the lesser of 2 evils. The mishandling of Covid started with Trump. I held my nose and voted for him because the alternative was so much worse. He has done a lot of good but I don't agree with a lot of his policies.

What was our trajectory if Kamala would’ve won? Respectfully, she's not and it doesn't matter. We are dealing in reality. And Trump is the reality. It's fair to criticize him on some subjects. Others are just pissy children blathering that he woke up breathing. I ignore them for the most part. But it fair to say he's not helping Americans right now. And it shows.

Trump has the ball first and goal on the 5 yard line. He has the quarterback, the running back, and the best O line, but he’s trying trick plays (to use a football analogy). He just needs to run the damn ball. “ What if’s “ don’t matter, we are where we are. Even what Biden did, doesn’t truly factor in. Trump has opportunities and he’s not capitalizing on them. IMO
Everything woke turns to shucks

Why did this thread involve Trump? Do you see a pattern here? Because Biden is not the current President who is supposed to be fixing what Biden did.

It may be fair but you gotta admit many of the things happening now happened because of what Obama put in place. He did so that many of these funded projects would NOT be funded while he was in. Obamacare for one but there were numerous green objectives were legislated but wasn’t funded for year but is being implemented now. It’s why the left holds us accountable and reminds the huge omnibus being passed. Biden was used to amp up the dream If the whole truth is to be told as it should. There many things out trumps hands. Now for the things he is doing and responsible for, absolutely those cane be debated. It’s like I’m on huff in puff from all the pettiness Heck went to see that site for the first time in years. I wanted to get a head start on what’s coming to aldeer for the weekend lol

This has been said multiple times but it’s not sinking in… there’s no difference between the two parties, they all work for the same donors. Fundamentally Trump is no different than Obama, Biden, Bush, and the rest. The sooner you truly understand that, the better off you’ll be.

Open borders versus closed borders is huge difference Green energy versus nuclear or oil and gas Another huge difference They are similar as to who gets their palms greased Middle class America if better off when republicans are in unless you support Muslims infiltrating our country. The Democrats are handled by Marxist/communist It’s disingenuous to say there’s no difference.

While correct, it is absolutely fair to say Trump is doing nothing domestically to help Americans with cost of living and expenses. He's ate up with overseas issues and doing nothing to help us.
That's a fair assessment in my opinion. And a sticking point to me regarding his legacy. He's forgot or doesn't give a shit who put him there and why.
He's done a lot of good things. But in the end, the wallet dictates votes more than anything else. And on that subject he is severely lacking right now. He did tariffs which could have helped but they ruined that. Fuel prices are down from what they were under Biden but have been back up the last 4 or 6 months but not to biden levels, stock market at record highs, perscription costs down, deporting illegals helps every american. Surely every american knows every single item will be more expensive under democrats like ot always is. I get where you're coming from. However, stock market and all that doesn't mean beans to most Americans. The receipt at the grocery store and the gas pumps means more than anything else. Period. Those two factors, along with utility costs and housing are what the average American struggles with. Not the stock market. I'm not hurting. But I also am smart enough to see how much it takes to fill my truck just so I can work. How much groceries are too. I'm lucky enough to be healthy enough to do what needs doing for my family. But most aren't in my position and I'm very aware of how they are suffering. Trump is no different than Biden in those regards. Simple truth. I still support him. Don't get me wrong. I'm not one of those delusionals that are so plentiful on this forum now. But I also am capable of seeing reality. It's sucking right now. And the reason the republicans don't care is because the democrats are in so much disarray that they don't feel motivated to do anything about it to earn re-election. And I believe they are correct in that assessment. No tax on tips no tax on overtime, lower fuel prices than under Biden

Why did this thread involve Trump? Do you see a pattern here? I'll own that. My apologies. I stepped in first with it. I took it from the standpoint that Biden has been gone two years. Nothing has been done to significantly correct the issues he made worse.

And I believe they are correct in that assessment. No tax on tips no tax on overtime, lower fuel prices than under Biden I worked in gas and diesel during Biden. I’ve never seen these prices at the pump. Diesel approaching $6 a gallon I agree 100% fattyfireplug. Stock markets is long run and important. But for folks trying to survive it’s a pipe dream. We need prices to come down at the storefronts. Which isn’t going to happen.

We haven't begun to see the end cost of Biden's time in office.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Except I believe the Democrats "Big Tent" approach accepting the socialists will be their downfall. Or their fulfillment of their wet dream of destroying the Capitalist/Representative Republic
