............ and buy them from Sand Mountain Toyota. My wife has a '21 Highlander , it seems some of them have a transmission problem , (high pitch whine). There is a bulletin but not a recall. Hers was out of warrantee by 19k miles and we did not have the extended warrantee. Being a loyal Toyota customer along with the help of Marshall, the Sand Mountain Toyota service manager , Toyota put in a new transmission yesterday at $ 0 cost to us. This is not the first time Toyota has come through for me. I had a '06 , black, Tacoma the paint bubbled up on the roof and hood. It too was well out of warrantee but I got Toyota to paint the hood and roof.

So far it's been nothing but good dealings with SMT for me and my wife. High Country in Snotsboro not so much. Team One in Gadsden, not so much either.

I bought a Tundra from them a few years ago. I got what I wanted in deal. It took awhile. I had cash and didn’t have to buy from them. I told the salesman where I was and what I would do. He said he had to get with the sales manager. I guess the were talking about what a hick I was or something. He came back a few mins later and told me he got what I wanted at the price I wanted and laid a piece of paper down. I looked at it and told him that was more than what he was asking prior to him speaking with the sales manager. I said I’m done and fixing to go to another dealer. I almost got into my truck and he came up behind me and asked what was it going to take to make a deal. I told him simply what I had asked prior to him speaking to his boss. He asked me to come back in. I refused at first then said ok. Went back in and got it at the price I told him I would not go over before. After everything was finalized his boss actually asked me if I wanted a job as a car salesman. I politely said no and that I didn’t have to buy a truck that day and if I didn’t get the deal I wanted I was leaving and shopping elsewhere. With all that said I have no idea about their service department. But when it comes to sales no matter the dealer they are the slime of the earth. And I have 2 cousins that are sales men at dealers and they would be the first to screw family.

When it comes to car salesmen , they'll all skin you if you let them.

When it comes to car salesmen , they'll all skin you if you let them. The salesman on the radio for McConnell in Mobile said that their 0% interest deal means “free money” for customers 🧐

When I get in my 2005 Tundra after getting out of my 2012 Honda Accord Exl, there is no comparison. Tundra has more miles and its way more solid and quiet.

I didn't read the whole article but it was talking about the 07 Tundra's having longer and more more warranty on things? probably trying to win back customers.

I love my Tundra. And I’ve used SMT before and they treated me right.
