Love those late 60's Camaro's. Bring it by and let see it negro!

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Had to order a brake caliper. Soon as it comes in I’ll swing by and piss the neighbors off.

66 Mustang coupe, factory A code with AC, auto. It needs lot of work, more than I am willing to do likely. Pulled it out of a warehouse where it had been sitting since 1977, somewhere around 2002-2003. All original, but was hit in one front quarter panel, and the floorpans are well gone. Kinda a rare car being a factory 4 barrel with air coupe, in Sahara beige which was a weird color. But to the right Ford nerd.....

67 Acapulco blue Mustang coupe. Motor got blown and fella needed some cash. Got it right. Decent car paint wise, has some lower door bubbles and needs some floorpan work redone. I apparently didn't know Stevie Wonder was welding in floorpans on the side. Was planning a 400+hp 351C/C4(until I can afford a Tremec), but it's likely going to end up with a Windsor. If I end up with said engine, it will be a great story I will surely share.

Last Fall, brother and I went down to Florida to get a car he'd wanted since he was 16. 1967 Chevy II Nova 2 door. He found this car years ago through a brother in law of the guy, and he wouldn't sell. Last fall his friend called and said his BiL had passed, they were selling his cars(he had some GOOD ones) and they wanted to know if he wanted to buy the car. Made a deal, and went and got it. Body is straight, paint is really good for a car I believe to have been painted in the late 80s early 90s, but it is very yellow. Car does not appear to have ever had major body work, all original trim present, no rust. After a little work getting this car running I think it was painted, they put a motor and trans in it and I don't think it was ever cranked. All the spark plugs had yellow paint on them where they painted the engine. Sat in a semi climate controlled garage after that. So much was wrong for a car that looked that good, it was pretty obvious. Engine was running insanely well to be sitting that long, and had a nice cam lope. After we replaced the all the brakes, put the car back down on the pavement to see if the transmission would go into gear and work. 20 seconds after we cranked it, the crappy TBI head cracked between the water jacket and #8 combustion chamber. Think we're probably gonna put a 350 crate motor in it for now, get it driving. Down the road I think he wants coil over front, LS and Tremec 5 speed. But I told him he's gotta keep the bench seat in the front beers

I’m convinced they all need work and hide imperfections unfortunately. You’ll like the Tremec. Mine has the tkx 5 speed and shifts really nice. Rated for 600 ft lbs torque.

I looked at putting a gear vendors overdrive on the back of the C4. It's about the same price to buy a TKX and have it all. These cars are pretty easy to add a third pedal to.

Is my dream car

Years ago while in HS a guy got one and totaled all in the same day. His dad had it rebuilt with all permanence parts balanced and printed by some shop in California. Candy apple red that was so well polished looked like the paint was a foot deep
Raced someone and drive it thru a barn.

He drove a pinto for the remainder of his senior year

Most are getting cheaper except for the rare ones. The muscle car lovers are dying out fast.

Growing up, a '69 Cross-ram Z28 Camaro was my dream car......as I've gotten older though, I think I'd go for something a little less common. It seems like Camaro's, Mustangs, Chevelles, etc are a dime a dozen in the classic muscle car world, so I think if I was building a classic muscle car, it would be something like a mid-60's Chevy Biscayne, or an early/mid-60's Ford Galaxie 500...either one with modern-ish running gear.

I also think a "resto-modded" Hudson Hornet would be cool (again, with modern running gear)

Good list but I would want to add the 1969 442 Olds.
