The soup? Margaret Holmes greens always
I bought canned turnip greens, black eyed peas, northern beans and a can of rotel
Seared the hot connecuh sausages and added
Bell pepper and onion diced up and then habanero chopped without seeds.
A shot of Worcestershire sauce, pepper sauce, Italian seasoning and meat church holy cow
Sweated it all together and added water and 4 cubes of chicken bouillon
I just throw stuff together at times but this one was originally posted by furflyin.

That looks great. I love Swamp Soup like that. There's a little place near the beach house, right by Rouses, and they give you a little cup of it with every meal. The place is Fish River Grill. All us old people eat there regularly. It is a blue hair paradise.
I rarely, if ever eat any canned greens, but as far as canned greens go, Margaret Holmes is really the only choice.
A tip on chicken bullion, or any bullion for that matter. Ditch the little cubes and the boxes and cans and go buy some of the Better than Bullion. Keep it in the fridge and use that. A teaspoon of it will totally elevate the flavor of just about anything. It is an awesome "secret ingredient."

I’ve wondered about those jars and even picked them up on occasion but put it back. I’ll grab a jar next time
I usually use low sodium chicken stock but didn’t have any.
