I'm not a "tractor guy" so back when we were building the cabin and I had my Yanmar, I was probably more cautious than most of you farm boys. Every time I got on it I couldn't help but remind myself all the ways that tractor could kill or seriously main me for life. I was very careful and situationally aware on that thing.

Hey, you can’t park there!  At least that one had minimal electronics, I can imagine getting that one back going will be far less hassle than a newer model.

Not really sure what happened as it has already been fished out by the time I got to the farm last weekend. No one was hurt, thankfully. ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/02b667Vr/20260808-143513.jpg) Does that feeder have a directional output for feeding the fish? If so, does it work good? I’ve been thinking about that setup for my pond.

That’s how we all should drive em. I’ve had some close calls by not paying attention over the years. Especially using tractors with a loader to push debris out of roads. Know 2 people who got hurt when a tree “jumped” over the bucket and came back on the operator. A grapple helps but is not fool proof to prevent spring back issues.
"Cull" is just another four letter word...

I hear you I hit a beaver slide across a dyke I was bushhogging. It was like that picture but at a 45 degree angle with a tree keeping it from going all the way over. Had to walk out about a mile in the dark. Fun times

We initially had their hopper that was for fish food, but the plastic was paper thin and critters ate through it in no time. Looking at Moultrie's website, they don't even seem to sell that one anymore. We moved it to the tripod set up with a more durable hopper and it does okay. It would be better if we could get it closer to the water as some of the feed doesn't make it into the water. It would do better on a dock. The motor itself and the directional design works ok.

You’re right about that spinner Joe.
Moultrie quit making the good durable spinner motors. Now they off some piece of junk with AA batteries that basically just dumps the feed on the ground beneath.
I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.
