The oldest has gone back to college for the new year and the twins have gone to start their freshman year. They have all been gone officially for 24 hours now and I’m bored out of my mind. Helped the wife clean the house (moved furniture for her to get a deep cleaning), went to the dump, went and picked us up some lunch. I’ve opened and shut the fridge about a dozen times to see what’s in there and if anything has changed from the last time I looked. I’m definitely out of my element with ALL the boys gone now. Going to have to figure something out to pass the time.

I can tell you what I did when the last child left the house. I eased over, tapped the wife on the shoulder, and well, the rest ain’t none of y’all’s business. lol.

Went through that back in the late 90s. Wife came home from work one day and said she wanted to run an idea by me. We spent the next 10 years doing foster care and then took up raising a granddaughter and now we have my MIL living with us. We haven't had time to be bored in a good while now.

Load up a 1000 spare magazines. I imagine Fords bike to be a Honda Goldwing with Dct.

I’m strongly considering it. Extremely Power Sports in Opelika has a Suzuki 650 Enduro.
I’m trying to talk myself out of it. Seems like a good deal to me.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Boho and I had coffee this morning, rode our tricycles for about 10 miles back and forth to the coffee shop in Gulf Shores. Some friends stopped by our table to say hi. We put the trikes up. Rode back to the bungalow. Made some fried breakfast burritos for brunch. Did a few chores around the house. Took a nap at 2:45. Just woke up about 10 minutes ago. Now we're fixing to get showers and ride down to our local dive bar, have a few tequilas, hang out with some friends and then come back to the house, make fresh shrimp tacos, eat some ice cream, watch some TV for the first time today, climb into bed, read a book, fall asleep and dream the dreams of people with few worries. It's wonderful...

What's this boredom thing you're talking about?

It's just going to take a while for you to adjust. You will eventually find your equilibrium and do as much or as little as you feel like. We personally love the freedom and don't mind the few times we are "bored."

People ask us why we don't have dogs when we're retired and they know we both love dogs. We're both like, "We raised 5 kids. We don't want anything else we have to take care of."

You try to burn the bearings out of it for about 3 seconds? 😆

I read where it's a relatively small bike that doesn't sit as high as many modern dual- sport motorcycles and is perfect for vertically challenged riders... laugh It's got great reviews and is bulletproof too... gun Great choice... thumbup

Yeah, seems like the tires are a little small. I like the XR better honestly.
I bought a 4 wheeler from them last month and have been eyeing this ever since
I’ve got a lot of dirt roads we used to ride
