I love mine! Blueridge units are first class. You have questions call the number and actually talk to somebody who knows what they’re talking about! Keep the units clean and you will be in great shape and happy. My 240 volt unit is Blue Ridge. I have no complaints but if you don’t wan condensation leaking into the house keep those filters clean regularly. A dirty filter will cause increased condensation that ends up dumping from the vent inside. Even if the tube outside is clean and flowing freely.
I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.

We have a Mitsubishi one in an amp room/IT closet, its awesome. Trane bought those.
We rented a space that had Daikon ones, they were quiet, but always seemed to have issues.

I'm following this thread. Starting to renovate an old house from the bones up. 1280 square feet, and need to keep cost as low as possible. I'm thinking a mini split will work. How far from the main unit can one put the inside portions? Looking at 3-5 inside portions with one outside unit. Thanks for everyone's input.

Just installed a 4 ton dual zone Della in my shop. Not too bad of a job at all. It has made my shop usable when it is usually a no go in the summer. I have a 250k btu gas heater for the winter so I’m not concerned with its heating abilities.

Most I’ve seen are pre charged for ?? amount of line. Mine was charged for 12 ft lines, I bought 12ft lines. Same system my neighbor installed was charged for 12ft he put 8ft that he already had. When he vacuumed and charged to correct pressure he had to let Freon out. Some do allow 25-50+ feet.
