This pic is on the 2027 Wounded Warrior Project calendar . It says it's in Alabama but does not give the location. Anyone recognize it? ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/zfPMDhwZ/20260812-091758.jpg)

OK , Noccalula Falls it is , we thought that might be it but was unsure. Knew it had to be in NA, figured it was in a park somewhere because it has a fence around the bluff. Told my Mrs. you fellers would ID it quickly , thanks.

2Dogs if you right click on the picture it gives you the option to search in google lens. Might be tough on a phone but on my desk top it came back quicker than you could start the thread. But what else do we have to do if it ain't huntin season?

From CGP:
I’m very confident that your photograph is Noccalula Falls at Noccalula Falls Park in Gadsden, Alabama.
What really nails it is the viewpoint. Your photo was taken from beneath the huge rock overhang, looking outward through the waterfall into the pool and Black Creek gorge. Compare it with the images above, especially the first two. The cliff ceiling, pool shape, rock formations, and tree-covered opposite bank are extremely close matches.
Noccalula Falls is a roughly 90-foot waterfall on Black Creek. The park specifically describes a Gorge Trail that lets visitors descend into the gorge and walk behind the falls, which is the location from which your photograph appears to have been taken.
Exact location
Noccalula Falls Park 1500 Noccalula Road Gadsden, Alabama 35904
The falls are at the southern end of Lookout Mountain, overlooking the Black Creek gorge.
Your picture appears to be from approximately behind and slightly downstream of the waterfall, rather than from one of the overlooks above.
I don't want to pass quietly into the night. I want to slide in sideways kickin and screamin Life really is awesome ... Soak it up while you can ...
