Looking to buy Kubota KX040 excavator buckets. 12in, 24in.
Also looking for a thumb and ripper.
Figured I would try here before shopping around new.
Located at the south end of the state but can travel.

As a Kubota 121-3 excavator owner I thought I'd share this. It may or may not even pertain to your machine. On the Kubota kx121-3 which I think is basically a prior model KX 040 machine, it uses the 40 mm pin. That is the same pin diameter and ear spacing as the cat 303.5 and cat 304 machines. So you don't specifically have to limit yourself to a Kubota bucket. .

Forgot to add it has a quick coupler, no pin on buckets. So only the Kubota versions will work. 080 will not work as it’s has larger pins.

Jweeks- check marketplace in the Birmingham/tuscaloosa area. I see those buckets pretty frequently. There might be a few on there right now.
Bates- how do you like the 121-3? I’ve looked at a few of them online. The ones I see are usually reasonably priced.
