I watched a couple of backwoods cowboys YouTube videos. They were pretty good to be honest. You can tell he is extremely passionate about local food. I always find it difficult when you are so close to something to see another way. The hardest part is realizing I’m to close. People struggle with the possibility that two different opinions can be right or wrong at the same time.
It seems to me that the border has absolutely nothing to do with beef from Argentina. I’m also 100% certain without even looking that US sourced beef has been recalled before. So there’s that.

What's that got to do with a secure border ? Had you titled your thread , "DOGE cuts allow bad beef in from Argentina ." You might have some cred. I wouldn't have called out the DTS nonsense if he had said "Trump allows inferior beef from Argentina in order to keep prices low before Midterms". Instead we get delusional lunacy as if cows make decisions to immigrate. This statement only shows your ignorance on the topics you you chose to comment on, as though you were an expert. The beef was in boxes! And your original post seems to blame Trump for the boxes walking across the border. Give it up dude and go get help. Is teump not the head of this incompetent government. The beef got scared, hid in a food truck and came through on another plane. They let the good beef stay on the plane they thought was going to be shot down. So use the press, aides, pilots, ect as decoys? Even announce on X that you are in fact on the plane. Sorry Cowboy but this has nothing to do with a secured border as the phrase has been used in the past. The beef did not get "smuggled" in, it was known to come in hence the recall. The way you are putting it makes it sound like it made it here unknown to anyone like a drug shipment. Where the ball was dropped was by the USDA because it was overlooked in the re-inspection process.

The cartels smuggle beef into the US to sell as a way to launder money. There are places you can herd cattle across the border without using a cattle trailer. Uninspected cattle are the reason screwworms are getting into the US. There are places in South Texas where one can wade across the Rio Grande with no border checkpoint Same for New Mexico and Arizona.

With a simple google search. The largest meat recall in the US was in 2008 in California . 143 million pounds.
Inspection Failure: Federal rules require complete veterinary inspection of livestock. Because the plant failed to properly examine cows deemed too sick to stand, the USDA declared the resulting beef unfit for food use.
Hallmark/Westland Meat Packing Company was a California-based meat packaging company. It was forced into bankruptcy due to costs from a meat recall and ensuing litigation.
So that seems like is was Americans screwing Americans.

There is a difference in fishing and possession. Since I agree with driveby that this sight has changed for the worse I have let my fishing license lapse. There are a few of us that can make you crawl out on the bank like a walking catfish .
