Better make it 4 . Good luck with the new knee Hoggin, I had my left knee replaced in December, its a process to get mobility back but just keep at it. I'll tell you mine still hurts but not as bad as before the replacement. Hang tuff and you'll get there.

On the bright side just got back from the diabetes doc and I'm actually doing well. On a related note Metformin (which I'm no longer on.) should be classified as a weapon of mass destruction. It's deadlier than a .243.

Had mine done on my left knee at first of February. Hit therapy hard wide open pushing myself. Added extra reps on each exercise. I was in the turkey woods opening morning. Had mine done in Gadsden, by William Haller. Best decision I ever made. Made life and just walking soon much better.

Love a good hunting story, love my family and friends. Some people you can't, but acted like do.

For those not aware, there are load limits and care to be taken or ya get diagnosed with "overuse-syndrome" lol. I folded my right leg under my ass 20mos after it's tkr and have carried a few elk out on my back plus a lot of mountain hiking. I was told I put about 10yrs on my 3yr old knee. There's some slop and it generates some pain... Oh, don't do too many weighted squats either...

Hyaluronic acid injections for osteoarthritis and knee pain. Got a relative wondering if anybody's tried it?

I've done all kinds of injections including stem cell injections in both knees and nothing works anymore...had an MRI last weekend at the VA and waiting on results...I've already scoped each knee twice for torn meniscus and the second scope on each knee also included a lateral release - that was about 4 years ago. Stem cell shots were a year ago and the last thing I did. We'll see what the latest MRI says. I'm ready for both new knees but not sure if the doc will agree.

I did the Syncvisc Hyaluronic injections. Did about 3-4 rounds, once every 6 months, first ones worked well. Also did PRP (Your own Blood plasma Platlets). Did them separately, and then did then about two weeks apart. Had good results however, the left knee was too far gone and total knee replacement was next step. That has worked well and I can not say enough good about Dr. Cain at Andrews and his team. PT has been good and after 3 months, knee is better than ever. Best wishes and hope it all works out for you as well..

One of my best friends is 80 something, has two replacement knees and a replacement hip and he gets around surprisingly well. Still splits his own firewood and hauls it.
