I have(had) a baitcaster worm rig and an ultralight spinning rig that I keep in the bed of my truck. We have 4 ponds on our lease and most times I drive by a pond I'll stop and make a few casts to see if the fish are biting. Last week, I stopped and fished and the bass were tearing it up on a Texas rig worm. Laid the ultralight on the ground and caught 10-12, 1-1 1/2 lb bass on the worm rod. Sun came out and I put the worm rod in the bed of truck and left leaving the spinning rig on the ground. Looked in bed of truck yesterday and realized I'd left spinning rig on the ground. Drove to lease to retrieve the rig. One of my lease partners had been bush hogging and mowed over my spinning rig, rod and reel in pieces. It gets better. Decided to check the fields/roads he'd mowed. Roads to fields were pretty grown in on the edges. On the way out, decided to stop and check to see if the worm rig was still in bed of truck. NOPE. It was gone. Backtracked everywhere I had driven, no rod in sight. Dumbass gonna dumbass

2 piece rods, store behind or under the seat. Maybe your toolbox if it is not like mine and overflowing with crap I may never use…
"Cull" is just another four letter word...

I have really enjoyed my campershell since I put it on my truck. Especially when traveling with gear

I met a neighbor who was walking on some property we both hunted. He was looking for a browning shotgun he had laid on top of his truck and forgot.

I had a buddy in college who ran over his SBE1 and brand new A400 xplor at the same time. Broke both of them

Well, good thing it wasn't a grand kid you forgot. This sounds like there is a backstory.
