So are they really not gonna allow the public to see the Game Check data anymore?? ......If so that sends a horrible message.....especially with a new director just coming in......I mean there's really no other way of perceiving it other than "we dont want you to see it in case we need to make up a narrative"

Some folks might not think much about it but hiding the data is HUUUGE…….That’s just blatantly announcing your true intentions…..I don’t see how you could do such and then turn around and want the public’s cooperation with checking or tagging deer, etc…….We are a culture of outlaws that don’t need a good excuse to say fugg game check and fugg the DCNR………but apparently we’re about to create a good one anyways……. Surely not (siggggh)……

It is probably due to people with no understanding of statistics using the data to create whatever narrative is wanted to fit their agenda. More likely it’s misrepresentation and pre conclusion reinforcement by those that do understand the data. Over the past several years in environmental sciences, few in data analysis got grants unless their study is intended to reinforce the global climate change narrative.

I thought we were supposed to have access to the data when we (hunters and tax payers) are the ones paying for it to be collected regardless of how anyone wants to interpret it……Is that not correct??
