Summer is SSSOOOO much fun. 🤬😡
Trying to zero a new scope on a 30-06. My prescription glasses have progressive lenses so it’s impossible to focus through the scope. Take off my glasses, adjust eye relief to see clearly the target. Of course if I’m not looking through the scope everything is blurry. Make a shot, put on glasses to make adjustments, immediately pour sweat into glasses. Blurry again. Make adjustments, cool down and clean the barrel, take off dirty glasses, make another shot. Rinse and repeat. If I wasn’t so miserable and pissed off this would probably be funny.
I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.

I dont shoot when its this hot. Temperature changes pressure which changes velocity which can shift POI.
I'm not hunting when it's 90°+ so why waste time shooting.

Yeah I’m in agreement with that. I just installed a new scope and lacking anything else productive to do, I thought let’s see if I can get this on paper. But no, it ain’t worth the misery.

Well I have done the same thing in a 3rd world desert in the middle of August. 😳
But I’ll admit it’s not the ideal place or time.
