A $1 per gallon increase along with inflation on every other product with stagnant wages is how Republicans will get smoked in midterms here soon.
Will be interesting to see how it shakes out.

I hope we can elect some Democrats this time and they can get these issues resolved.

Today's national average for regular is $4.10 , but the real beast is Diesel, the national average is $5.24. That Diesel average will translate to inflation on nearly all consumer goods, food especially. Diesel was this high from March of 22 to about November of 22, but this current forecast looks like it will be sustained this high or higher through this time next year.

I recall some on here saying fuel prices would only be up for 3 weeks and Iran would fold in 2 weeks
So much for that theory.

And if you’re gonna absolutely correct fuel prices are low when you bake in the cost of inflation.

Perception of the populace is a powerful thing.
Inflation is eating consumers alive and what some view as an unnecessary war on behalf of Israel just might not be as popular politically as Aldeer believes.

That’s the problem with everything especially with the younger generations. They think it ALL began when they did. It’s not just them but the world view is according to one’s own self so bias is very strong. It’s one of the greatest hurdles to overcome.


The problem is always dealt to the one that has to handle it. It’s never easy and the longer it’s kicked down the road the harder it will be. Trump could’ve kicked it down the road but somewhere in the future a nuclear Iran would become problematic for the great satan

Inflation is still high. Gas prices are back up. Trump said he was going to reduce prices and he hasn't (we knew he couldn't and wouldn't). Iran has turned into a boondoggle and there is no short term solution there. That will certainly lead to a lot of "on the fence" voters siding with the Democrats. It's just how the process works.

Don’t forget tariffs round 2 which were “supposed to make us rich” (whoever believed that lie) because “the other country will pay them” (another bullshit to-your-face-lie) that got struck down and all the money refunded to the COMPANIES and not the consumers who paid the increase price, thus padding corporate coffers.

Most voters , regardless of age vote their wallet. Peace and prosperity win elections .............. well , so much for that this election cycle.

If we had real conservatives running we would elect them. The question is why aren't we given any options?

Because we never forced the party into providing better candidates by refusing to vote for the democrats in disguise that they kept pushing through the primaries. Republican voters are more easily fooled than even democrats and they continually vote for the candidates with the most money driven campaigns. I'm the worst nightmare for those who run around hand wringing over the state of the party and lack of unity because I truly don't give a damn anymore. Let the whiners whine and let the rhetoric flow because I have long checked out of all the bs. If I thought the fate of the country rested in the hands of voters and politicians I'd probably be scrolling videos and ranting all day too but I understand this country can't be saved by the same ones who put is in this mess. God's plans will prevail regardless.

Call me optimistic and not much into resigning into a fatalist viewpoint.
