Of course, nobody can publicly provide feedback about this dumpster fire directly to them on Social Media, because they have blocked the general public from commenting on their social media posts......despite court rulings deeming it unconstitutional for "official social media pages" of Government departments/agencies to block comments from the general public. No one has sued them about this yet, or if they have it hasn't gone anywhere. But with the "Ehhh, laws, rulings ... who's going to make us do anything?" attitude now in the country, the Department is right in line with a lot of other people and agencies.

Not seeing my salt water reef endorsement I gave up. Got checked 2 weeks ago coming in from offshore. It just showed my lifetime license. I handed my phone to the trooper and said good luck He looked at it and said you are good to go WTF?

Well.....as of right now the Game Check data that I always use to make charts and such from is not available anymore.....Its a got a link on there but clicking on it just takes you to this page.......Maybe its just something that needs fixing....... https://www.outdooralabama.com/MyOutdoorAlabama

I signed into my account and most everything looks good but ... Evidently I killed three deer January 1, 1900 I logged into mine and my harvest history says that I've never killed a single deer in Alabama. Gamecheck started in 2013 and became mandatory in 2016. Says I have not shot a deer (doe or buck) in 13 years. I guess that means that I've got some catching up to do. Being a good Alabama redneck, I guess I'm going to have to kill either 39 (going from 2013) or 30 (going from 2016) bucks this season to get my street cred built back up. You guys know the adage, "Youre not a real, or good, Alabama hunter unless you can kill your 3 bucks every year. Hate it for my neighbors. LOL. And just for you CNC, I'll drop 100 or so does this year, in the name of management. Gotta keep that sex ratio in check.

I have a feeling its just something that needs cleaned up or I doubt they would have put a link to Game Check Data on there........BUT......in the event that they dont get the data back available then that would be something everyone should be up in arms about......The public should be allowed to the see the data for obvious reasons......Not doing so is just asking for them to make up whatever narrative they want to

Maybe they are actually revamping the data section as well so that it allows access to even more data……I’ve always wanted to be able to compare the harvest rates of any one day compared to another…..To be able to pull up Jan 25th of 2026 and compare it to Jan 25th of 2025 and so forth……I bet that’s what they’re doing……

I'm sure it will be much more granular. Probably start showing detailed age, weight, and antler characteristics on bucks harvested and age, weight, and lactation data on the does. This will be the new motto: "Alabama........leading the way in cutting edge wildlife research, game management, and data transparency."

Dont they also collect the data for the number of points a buck has??.....I havent killed one for myself in several years and just want to make sure I'm not imagining remembering that......That info would be kinda cool to see charted out
