Hunted from 6 to 9:30 this morning and only saw 1 bird and a bunch of skeeters. Definitely a pretty morning and enjoyed it.

Had a spike and a 4pt sparr off and on under my stand this afternoon for 15 good minutes. Nothing else

Hunted morning and evening saw 4 racoons 21 turkeys and 1 hog, but no deer.

I was re-attaching my quiver at about 8:30 this morning to get down so I could make it back to class on time when I heard the twig snap that I've been waitin for since February. Two does had slipped within 30 yds and one of them was walking straight at me with her head down. I got twisted into position about the time she spotted me from about 10 yds. She spun and loped off, but stopped and second guessed herself for just long enough to catch a Spitfire to the chest. Got a good pass through and a pretty short track.
We broke this season in right...
5 of us hunted morning and evening and we killed 4 does.
Everybody managed to get checked by the local game warden without incident...I believe we might have made a new friend in fact
Nobody fell out of a stand and I'm stoked to smoke another one this weekend

hunted sun-up to sun-down and watch the squirrels play all day. my buddy was hunting the other side of the property and saw 1 doe just before dark.
