I have a 2005 FX4 4dr extended cab with the 5.4...with in the last month or less I have put the following brand new parts on it ..new calipers and brakes,new tie rods and ball joints also an alignment this week,both new CV axles and hub, new interstate battery,new starter as well as water pump,new belt etc...last year new struts and rear shocks etc... transmission was rebuilt a few years ago as well the tires are good as well...drove it this afternoon and lost oil pressure according to the gauge..turned it off and there was a light tapping noise on the top side... checked the oil and no water or shavings... I don't have the money or time to attempt to fool with it...i have over $1400 in the parts listed...asking $2000.. Update[b][/b] I crunk it up and it ran as normal and I drove it 6 miles back to the house from the store I left it at before it acted up again... may be the oil pump or sludge buildup on the oil pump screen not sure...but I'm broke and don't have the funds or time as I finally found a job🤔
