Had anyone had either put on a truck? I've researched online and am leaning towards Sumo springs, but wanted to see if anyone here has experience. I got a new Tundra and really like the truck, and it pulls great, but it's the softest suspension I've ever seen on a truck. I think it squats with a bag of garbage in the bed. 😃 Ive had airbags on two trucks and don't really want to go that route. They cost more and all of them I've had leaked down. I want something simple.

I had Sumo Springs on my Tacoma that was totaled by a deer. My setup was just the hard neoprene or whatever material it is that looks like a stack of donuts bolted between the axle and frame to prevent bottoming out under load. They worked great for what they are. And if I remember correctly there are 2 or 3 grades of hardness to choose from in the cushioning effect.

I’ve not used them but I was leaning that way. Those are good, but only work on leaf springs. The new tundras are coil springs.

Had timbrens in my tundra. They helped. There is a company that makes stiffer coil springs for the tundras. I think it’s doosan. Look into those. The timbrens did help the squat alot. But you would feel them bottom out with a load sometimes even going over a speed bump. I don’t understand why Toyota didn’t put lead springs on a truck.
