Not real sure wtf they do in counties? When you catch a guy stealing guns, have pictures of the said guns, have the guy on camera at a pawn shop selling them. Same guns he sold are same one that are pictured and we knew what they was before hand and told them what they was. And the guy that stole em was on probation already as well. Got proof of all this. And the low life sob investigator says we can’t charge him for nothing since you don’t have the serial numbers. A5, BLR, 1100, and some more top end ones. Nothing can be done about it. But bet your butt that the sorry pos sheriff office cut a deal for them and they get out of it. The drug head rolled on a bigger drug head. And I’d bet money someone in the sheriff office will keep my paw paws guns. The law has always been a two sided snake and they come out on top every time. Ain’t no law man ever done a dang thing ever to help me in my life. In the words of Corey Smith. F the popo, they ain’t for the workin man and never will be. They just money grabbers for the government. Marshall county sheriff office go get F…..

And I know there are some good guys behind a badge and for the most part stuff is out of there hands. But it really pisses me off how things are handled. It’s not even about the guns as much as they didn’t charge the low life thief with nothing.

went through the same thing except i had gps coordinates for two items stolen. 1 of the two was recovered

same group cut down several trees on the property line and one fell across my gate, told the cop and he said he couldn’t do anything bc he didn’t see him do it…. i told him that i surely didn’t do it yet i have to remove the tree and repair the fence / gate, works out great for me!!!

I have an entire inventory, with s/n of every weapon I don't own. But if needed could Identify the weapons I don't own.

But if the sheriff can't handle it as needed. Well. People go missing all the time.

The thieving POS would rather deal with the law than me anyway. You know the thieves name? I know a lot of people in Marshall County. Probably know somebody that knows the bass turd.

What county and what area of the county?

Get the F out of the BATFE. The F is guaranteed by the US Constitution. Those other letters are not.

Whose fault is it that you couldn't provide serial numbers for the guns? Sounds to me that your anger is misplaced out of guilt. They made chicken salad out of chicken shit by getting some drug info out of the deal. By the way, I'm the popo so F back at you.

Without serial numbers, any decent defense attorney could drive a truck full of reasonable doubt into court.

Record the serial numbers for all guns and secure them, preferably in more than one location.

Hard lesson to learn.

I know a Shelby Co Deputy that many people think is just a wonderful person. I’ve seen the real side. Lockjaw has as well and can vouch. Crooked as a snake is an understatement. I’ve had “dealings” with this deputy to the point that I’ve told my boys if they ever get pulled over by said deputy to hand over their license then ask for a supervisor to be present. Then, don’t say another word. When the supervisor arrives, tell him of our past dealings with this deputy and our concern. My dealings with this particular deputy was a personal issue that ended up involving Lee County Sheriff Dept. The deputies there were shocked when they found out this particular person was a law enforcement officer.

I’m not disagreeing that. A 86 year old man kicks out, his wife with dementia, some paper work is hard to find. That’s all I know to tell ya on it. The boy worked for my paw paw. He stole keys around time of funeral and went into gun safe. We don’t know just how many guns the boy got total 20 or more. We just knew what certain ones he did have that family had gave him over the years. Lot of proof just to let a dude on probation off the hook for pawning what could have been missing guns that had been reported.

Yea sir, hard lesson to learn. But a lesson was learned out of this, that’s for certain.

And there is still no definitive proof beyond a reasonable doubt that those very common guns pawned were grandpa's. Would you like the State to waste time and resources to make you feel better over your mistake? Police officers don't like to lose cases and DAs certainly don't and that was not winnable. Simple as that.

Guys I was brought up to respect law enforcement and believe they did no wrong. I’ve got to say as I’ve grown older l believe there are more corrupt than good these days. But to the stolen guns a buddy had a similar situation happen to him in Dekalb county

Man your worse than a crooked preacher, you think yall do no wrong and are higher than most. The police literally get paid to waste time, and to hide in the bushes and write petty tickets. I have to have 100% solid proof to prove my case on something, but yet a law dog can arrest me on assumption if he wants to and that’s ok. I have to live by a different set of laws than you do and that’s ok?? Man you can justify all you want, but in this particular case the law is wrong on this one. There a back room deal that was made. There’s alot of lying and rule bending in them police stations. Like it or not. That’s a fact.

His opinion is EXACTLY the same as your's, but he is just telling you that the court doesn't work on opinion only on proof. It isn't worth the cops time to push, because the DA isn't going to take the case with no definitive proof.

100% BS. We all agree.

Post some "Have you seen this man" flyer around the places that he visits. Stole guns from grandpa with dementia and pawned them for $.

Engrave the last 4 of your social under the stock somewhere and record the serial numbers with photos.

Jawbone is a good man. Having had to go to court myself yesterday I will say that a lot of the blame lies in lawyers. He is just trying to tell you that the case is not winnable even if we all agree with you that it should be. You hire a lawyer the other guy hires a lawyer. They get up and argue the law

There is video proof the boy pawning the guns at pawn shop, pawn shop owner even called the law and told em he done it before we reached out to the law. they got the boys phone and went through it where he was discussing getting stuff from my paw paws place. He stole truck loads of stuff from there, not just guns. He is on probation and pawned guns, has proof of other stuff he stole in his cell phone. And NOTHING was done about it. They just cut him loose and said, didn’t have enough to “charge” him for it.

People can defend that all they want to. But not me, no sir not me. But bet your azz if I went to his house, and beat em like he needs to be beat, break his bones in his hands and ear notch him so he’s marked for life. They gonna throw me under the jail. The law picks and chooses what rules they follow and can get away with it. Americas biggest cartel is what it is.
