I went to the last one and I was surprised. There were a lot of empty space that normally had tables. I’m going to wait and go to the one in Millbrook next month. It had more variety to me.

The last time I went to the one in Montgomery, I picked up a case of 6.5 gren. ammo at a discount. If it’s raining, why not go? I didn’t have a problem with the area.

I would HIGHLY recommend NOT going. There are not many deals and it’s located in a high crime area. There was an armed robbery at the front door last year.

Dang. Sounds like a great way for a criminal to win a Darwin Award. Plus - Every gun show I have ever been to has a uniformed officer at the front door / lobby.
Might be some deals. Some people are saying firearm sales are softening as the economy tightens.
I will go to a gun show every now and then, just to pickup bulk ammo packs really. Bout that time again. I usually do some research on ammoseek to get a market Price per round cost and pitch offers to the guys at the tables and someone will bite.

You never know about the smaller shows. I had never been to the Wetumpka show but a yr ago I scored some great Contender stuff and a bag of new 357 Maximum brass ( hard to find at that time). My buddy bought an unfired Model 63 Winchester for $1000, which was a steal. Good show.
