Everything is soggy and messy down here. I would not expect a good turnout either. That usually favors the guy with the most money.

I went around 2pm and it was flooding. The poll workers said it had been an awful turnout. Hopefully tomorrow I quit getting 7-8 text messages a day.

We are traveling so not present to vote. I echo the sentiment to not ever get another stinking political text.

Piss poor turnout up here too but perfect weather for getting out. Runoff elections never impress with numbers.

Get the F out of the BATFE. The F is guaranteed by the US Constitution. Those other letters are not.

Thank you GMEHunter. Had I not seen this post, we'd have forgot. Been busy. As soon as I saw it we scooted out to vote. Place was deserted.

I’ll just be glad that it’s over. I’m sick of the texting and the TV commercials.

Our precinct voted about 15%.

"Why do you ask"?

All the commercials were about was "the other guy". How horrible he was or he's doomed to hell or such. Never about what this guy can do for you!

Vernon Tull got out and voted in the 7:00 am hour. We had an important county commissioner race. Our county road has been trying (begging, pleading, petitioning high up officials) to get public water access for our 9 houses for 20 years, so the commissioner's position is important since he works alongside the county water authority. We're bad thirsty and dry on this road.

And yes there were state races too today on the ballot.

If I read it correctly this morning, our whole county turnout was around 12%.

I was voter #60 at my polling place at about 5pm yesterday.

I was somewhere between 100 and 110 at about the same time last month.

Don't leave out the Injuns on that list. They own the legislature.
