I just got in a brand new PSE Altera XS bow today that I traded for on archerytalk. I think these were produced in 2022, so this is new old stock. I did take it out of the box,tie a d-loop on it, snugged a whisker biscuit rest on, set the DL to 27", and drew it back three times, but never fired the arrow. It has 60# limbs that I backed out a turn and a half, and at age 71 with right shoulder issues, I just can't handle that much poundage anymore. I know you can back the limbs out even more to lower the poundage, but I don't like turning them out more than two turns. Just a mental issue I have. I've been shooting mostly 50# bows for several years and have no problem killing deer at that weight. I have two other bows that are 50# max that I like better, well at least one of them I like better. The jury is still out on the other. The specs on this bow are as follows: A to A is 29.62", BH is 7", DL range is 25.5 to 31" via a rotating module, physical weight is 3.8#, and max poundage is 60# give or take a pound or two usually. Not sure how much it will turn down to but you can crank it down 10 turns, so I would think it might go down into the 40's but not sure. Let off is fixed at 80%, It has the 4B cams which are similar to the Evolve Cams but without adjustable let off. The riser is charcoal with black limbs, although the riser is so dark it could almost pass for black. I am assuming it has never been registered but don't know that for sure and not guaranteeing you could still register if it isn't. You may be able to, I'm just not sure. This would make a good tree stand or ground blind bow and will fit many different sized archers. I was wanting it for a saddle hunting bow. When these came out they listed for $649.00. I am asking $400.00. I might also be open to trades if something interests me. Would especially be interested in certain lightweight 50# max bows, preferably around 30 to 33" AtoA. I can text or email pics to anyone interested. I am sure I left out some important info, as I always do. I live in Franklin county between Russellville and Haleyville and would drive a little to make a deal. Thanks for looking.

Let’s try $325.00. I am really trying to avoid having to ship on archerytalk.

Last attempt to try here before posting it on archerytalk. I'll do $300.00 for the bare bow or for $330.00 I'll throw in a PSE custom QAD HDX drop away rest. Those were well over $100 new. I also might be interested in a trade for the RIGHT 50# max bow. I got a shot of cortisone in my right shoulder yesterday and can't shoot right now, but going to stick to 50#ers when I can. So, if you have a son ready to move up in draw weight form 50#, shoot me a PM. Of course, I already have two but always like to try something else.
