Looking at putting a metal building as a camp/hangout spot on the property. I don't necessarily need a barndo as it's close to the house but will need a bathroom/shower, couch with big screen tv, kitchen area/bar and could put a couple bunk beds in there for buddies who want to come hunt. I want it more open concept and not framed out into rooms etc. Anyone have something like this? I am torn between a 30x40 and a 40x48/50. It will need a covered extended front porch to grill/hangout etc on. Any tips/ideas? Pics of their own?
I was going to look at summertown metals but a buddy will be building for cheaper/better product.

Build it bigger than you think you need.

The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

We bought a piece of property that had an unfinished metal building around 30x40. We needed a quick fix for a place to stay and this is what we did. Built a 16x40 lean, 30’ finished out, 10’ covered porch. The bathroom could be entered from the main barn or finished area. The floor of the original barn was gravel, so we poured a slab around 16x16, put in a fireplace and made that the sitting area. Didn’t take us long to figure out we didn’t need to build a camp house, we just needed to keep piddling on the barn. Built another lean to mirror the first one then someone saw our place and had to have it.
