I went to my grandson school outing yesterday, he is in second grade. It was outside and most folks had on shorts, I would say that about 60 % of the young folks ( young to me in their late 20s) men and women had a lot of tattoos. There was this one lady with tattoos on both legs and both arms, she had a butter fly on her neck and hearts on both ears (that must have hurt), A young man came to me a few weeks ago and asked for a raise because he was having problems making ends meet as he had 2 young kids. He had tattoos all over his body and I couldn't help my self and ask how much those tats cost. He had a snake on his leg that went from his foot circled around his leg up as far as I could see, probably up into his butt (he had shorts on). I asked how much all his tats cost and he said thousands, the snake alone cost $6000 and took 5 settings to complete. How can one justify getting tattoos and not be able to support his family? He told me he could not help himself if he had money and there was an open space on his body he was getting a tattoo. It was an addition.
I don't get it.

I'm not qualified to answer, because I have no tattoos. I'm not anti-tattoos, I've just never been able to come up with anything to mark my body with for the rest of my life.
I'm just in here before people with tattoos are going to call you an asshole because you don't understand why people get tattoos.

I got no tats either. I heard this one from somebody the other day. The tatted up folks call our kind "Pure Skins".

Hmm. Pain and possibly stuck due to stupidity or drunkenness with a design you may not like in future. Then you have to spend money on laser removal. Hmmm. I think I’ll pass.  I had friends at FHP with them on their arms, back and chest. Some folks get addicted. I avoided the temptation to get an FHP forever tattoo back in the day. I have no tattoos. I don’t see my body as a canvas but some folks do.

In Marietta, I should have a taken a picture of it, is a small strip mall. It has two tattoo parlors and a tattoo removal clinic in it, all three doors next to each other.

I have a European deer skull mount on my right shoulder. Have a pass through broadhead on both sides of my ribcage. And me and my wife have wedding bands. She also has a beach palm tree scene on her shoulder blade. Im not addicted to it, I just like coming with unique ones I haven't seen a thousand times. Like it or not, didn't do it for opinions.
Love a good hunting story, love my family and friends. Some people you can't, but acted like do.

NONE here but, a lot of my military buddies have them. A lot of individuals both men and women in the PNW have them as well. Some have way too many IMO
