My wife is in the market and really likes the new Broncos. Any opinions on them, pro or con? I've bought from two dealers: Stivers in Montgomery and Long-Lewis in Hoover. Both experiences have been good. I also hear many of the locals going to Town & Country in Pell City. Again, any opinions? TIA.

All I can tell you about them is that all the soccer moms drive them to school with the kids. Sometimes we have 4 in a row letting out kids in the mornings. I call it the Bronco Parade. Every mother I talked to about their new Bronco loves it. I hate the short Bronco Sport from a looks point of view. Looks like a Volkswagen to me.
I’m a Toyota man myself. I love the new Four Runner TRD!

I've heard they ride really rough. Can't be worse than a Toyota though I haven’t ridden in one but I’d expect it to ride just slightly better than a Wrangler. Basically the way a Wrangler would ride if it had IFS instead of a straight axle.

Would be a fun weekend vehicle, I wouldn’t be interested in daily driving one

My wife has one and loves it. It does ride pretty rough. It’s a 1978 model though, so probably doesn’t apply.

Which one, the smaller sport or the higher one with the bigger tires. Then there’s the special edition ones
One neighbor has the sport and she loves it. She’s in her late 60s. The other neighbors college aged daughter had the bigger one with the bigger tires. 35s I believe and she loves hers too. Guy down the street has the Sasquatch series and his wife loves it.
I’ve never ridden in one so I have no clue but if they’re rode really bad any of them could afford better if need be
Anything with the name “sport” usually doesn’t ride well in my opinion.

It rides on the dirt road WAY better than my 2013 Rubicon 2 door.

Get the Bronco Raptor! I'm sure it rides NICE! My wife "almost" considered the Bronco Raptor, but ended up with an Expedition Tremor instead.

I talked with a guy that had one with the hard top. He said the hard top was about as loud as the soft top going down the road.

Look at them awhile back. Was looking for something smaller that would get better fuel mileage. Was gonna park my dually at the ranch, and drive it on my long trips. Figured it would be a good hunting truck as well. The make several different models. The jacked up ones are cooler, but more expensive also. I really liked them,but the gas milage wasnt worth it, for what i wanted to do with it. Every dealership i stopped had extremely differnt models with extremely different prices. Another cool trick that will help you, if you want to stop at multiple dealers, just to look. When the salesman insists on your name and phone number, give them your buddies!

I look at some and think, damn that's ugly. Then I'll see one thats as good looking as anything on the road.
But don't need one. Can't justify one and the ones in my price range would be the ugly ones.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

I rented one in new england two weeks ago. One of the full size 4 doors, with hard top. Put about 2k miles on it. To me, they drive really well for a short wheel base suv. Handles well, plenty of power. Loud as crap. No different than a jeep, from a noise perspective.

I have a 2023 Bronco Badlands 4 door, soft top. I wanted the hard top but got a deal too good to pass up on the soft top. A guy bought it for his wife. She put 5,000 miles on it and hated it. Thought it would ride like a Lexus. It doesn’t. It does ride MUCH, MUCH better than any Jeep I’ve ever ridden in, but it is an Offroad style vehicle and rides like one. The hard tops are giving Ford fits with cracking finishes and are having lots of warranty issues with that. I’m glad I got the soft top because it’s really my play vehicle and we can take the top completely down and if it rains while we are out, we stop and button it back up. Can’t do that with a hard top. Naturally with the soft top, it’s a little noisy. My wife drives it a good bit to work but she only works 1-2 days a week, about 7 miles from home. I don’t think she would enjoy it as an everyday vehicle. Anything specific you want to know?

THE BRONCO sports do not have a soild frame under them from what i've heard and made in mexico. The other ones just labels bronco with the rear tire rack are full frame and made here.

Don't do the Bronco Sport. It's just a rebodied Ford Flex or something like they. Maybe the Escape. Not sure.
