The Tractor Manufactured SXS's are way easier to negotiate with than the ATV / Motorcycle dealers. Unlike the powersport places the Kubota's and the Gators are only marked up so much. Also, the sales folks in a tractor place are different and in a good way. My experience was just the opposite. I could not get the Kubota dealers to come off the price and never could get a out the door price from them. All 3 that I called would say "it will run about this" . Walked into the local Polaris dealer and within 10 minutes had the deal worked and had it loaded on the trailer in an hour. That's because the prices are set from the manufacturer. Should still be able to tell a price over the phone
The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

Here's what I don't understand about these $20-30k SxS.......ok, you get a 4-seater with a small bed on the back. Compare that to an TJ wrangler that you can get for $8-10k (for a NICE one) or $4-5k for one that's cosmetically "seen better days". Seats the same number of people, 4wd, likely has heat and probably has AC, and doesn't have to be trailered anywhere. And the 4.0 in those will run forever.
Other than the fact that a lot of people don't have $5-10k in cash laying around but they can finance a new SxS for 15yrs at 20% interest, what is the advantage of the SxS over an old jeep? or old ford ranger...or any other various small, old 4wd pickups.
What am I missing? Is it just because driving a beatup old truck/jeep to the hunting club doesn't look as cool/prestigious as trailering a $25k SxS through the neighborhood?

The advantages of a Ranger over a jeep, suzuki samurai are mainly on how much it tears up the roads. I save myself time and money using 4 wheelers/Ranger to access areas. Not having to have rock added to the road yearly and hiring a bulldozer to move it makes the atv/utv an expense that pays for itself. I also duck hunt and running through flooded fields requires them.

FB Marketplace is your friend-
Capitalize on someone else’s poor financial decision. I’m sure there’s some good ones out there, but I’d be extra cautious when shopping for a SxS on marketplace. I say that because about 98% of the people I know who have them all seem to have the same goal, and that’s to tear them up.

Ridezilla in Albany, Ga. I got the price on my FXT from them and drove over on a Saturday AM, handed them my check, signed a few papers and was gone within 45 minutes. Based off their website they have 2wd Mule SX's for $6,995 and 4wd Mule SX's for $7,995. My brother-in-law bought a SX a few years ago and regretted it from day one because of the suspension and sold it and bought an FXT. If I was you, I would personally look at stepping up to a Mule MX for the much better suspension. That being said Ridezilla has everything you a looking for with the exception of the Polaris 500, but they do have some 570s on their website.

So, I would've had to get a Jeep stuck, not a SxS! point goes to Gomer!

I told them I never wrote a check that said about on it. It was after lunch on a friday so that may have played into their not really wanting to work on final numbers.

That tells me everything I need to know about their business practices and I would have perma-banned them right then and there.
