I pay $49 and change every month as a minimum bill to Myrtlewood Water at our camp. Had an issue a couple years ago where the person who was supposed to be checking it wasn’t. They just turned in numbers. Landlord’s wife got a couple of large $150-250 bills and stroked out. I had to get it switched to my name. Took pics of the water meter from different times up there and proved to them it wasn’t being checked correctly. They “semi” half assed apologized and credited the account for the overage bills I’d already paid but gave the credit to my landlord, not to my account. I was NOT happy but they are the only game in town unless I want to drill a well for a house I don’t own.
