With all the acorns still in the woods, the hogs have no interest in corn in or outside my traps. Been that way since the fall. What have yall tried that worked well besides corn? I've tried souring the corn but still no dice.

Try rice bran. We put it out for deer and can't keep the hogs off of it.

Friend of mine had the same problem a couple years ago when it was super dry and figured they were rooting to get moisture from roots. He put a 275 gallon tote full of water and several bags of sugar on a steady drip in the Pig Brig and within a few days they had it located. Think he scooped a shallow hole with the FEL so water wouldn’t get outside the trap. He had to wire the valve into position because the turned it off rooting around the tank. He ended up building a stand a few feet tall out of 4x4’s and other scrap lumber to set it on after his first haul.
