Good afternoon
Does anyone have a recommendation for an endocrinologist.
Location does not matter as long as it’s within the US.
What matters more is lead time, the sooner the better.
Any recs?

I use one about an hour east of my house in Tallahassee Florida at tallahassee endocrinology. I actually go Monday to talk with my doctor about getting put on an insulin pump.

I use one about an hour east of my house in Tallahassee Florida at tallahassee endocrinology. I actually go Monday to talk with my doctor about getting put on an insulin pump. You got a specific Docs name? I hope the pump goes smoothly for you

The particular doctor I use is Dr. Franco. Monday will be my second time seeing him but I like him so far. Thank you I appreciate it.

Check out Dr grisset in Florence… I like him better than Jackson though both are good. May get in earlier as he’s building his practice.

If you are having an urgent issue, going to ER will get you some care and then a more immediate referral.

I found out I had extremely high sugar in 2020 during Covid, and could not get a drs appointment for months. Shoot me a pm if you’d like to discuss.

Dr. Neil Schaffner in Auburn/Opelika. Hunter and fisherman. Actually paid for a lot of his med school by winning bass tournaments. He is absolutely the best endocrinologist I’ve ever worked with. He’s about 5”2 but a really big brain. If he is still taking new patients, I’d use him hands down.

I’ve known Neal and his family for years. Like Dr. B said, great outdoorsman and very generous with his property. Don’t know if he’s taking new patients or not but he would be my first call.
