I got members bitching currently. Our roads washed out and we were able to get 18 tri axle loads of dirt, gravel for the entrance way, and our main road graded and cleaned up to our second parking area all for FREE. I told the worker he was welcome to a turkey hunt thinking that our members would understand ( i run this club ), Im talking thousands and thousands of $ of work for FREE. One of them caught the guy on camera hunting and is fucking furious. Like come on now, we just got probably 5-7K worth of work done zero out of pocket cost. keep in mind when all the work needs to be done im the one doing it. #1 reason I quit clubs years ago !

They were doing a big job in the area, and needed a place to dump the dirt and base layer they dug up for the parking lot they were building. There yard where they normally dump is about 30 miles from the jobsite, and our place is 12. Since fuel is so high we told them that they could dump at our place, and in return we would need some gravel for our entrance and our roads fixed after they were done. So they agreed and did it all for free.

Typically i never hand out turkey hunts but For that much $$ help - i understand - but i would hav to tell club before hand so they don't come down on dude for hunting a day or 2
