Central Alabama south of Birmingham and north of Montgomery. When should the hatch be for wild turkeys? I’m wanting to heavily trap and predator hunt during the first couple of weeks of the hatch. I know this may not make a huge impact but I want to give it a try. I don’t think it could hurt anything.

A lot of the hens in your area are already on the nest. Get those traps out now and you might save some hens. I see the most young poults the first 2 weeks of May in Coosa county. Good luck with it!
