Can someone share some good turkey 🦃 recipes that doesn’t involve deep frying! I love it deep fried, but I know I need to stop eating so much fried food (including fish!) 😂. Thanks in advance, Robinhedd

I smoked a breast yesterday from a turkey I shot last week. It was my first and it turned out great.
Brine: 1 gallon of water 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar 1/2 cup of kosher salt sliced apples and oranges peels on tablespoon of crushed garlic 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar Put the breast in the brine overnight in the fridge
Smoker: take breast out of brine and dry the meat coat the meat with olive oil coat the meat with coarse black pepper, garlic salt, bbq seasoning salt, lemon pepper put the breast directly on the smoker grill 250deg for 1:45 (until core temp is 160deg) pull breast and lay out aluminum foil put breast on foil and then put a whole stick of butter directly on the breast and wrap in the foil place back on the grill for 30 min
Slice and enjoy.

Confit the legs & thighs in a Dutch oven with duck fat and serve with rice and gravy. Amazing.

I like to make kabobs and grill them occasionally. Brine the turkey and then make them with onion/mushrooms/bellpepper/zucchini/etc. just don’t over cook and they are delicious

I can't, those recipes just don't exist. Any way other than frying the breast is just edible.

Other than frying, I’ll cut it up into chunks. Dust with some bad Byron’s butt rub. Wrap a piece of bacon around it, toothpick it, grill it till the bacons done. The bacon will keep the breast moist. Always been a big hit.
My frying recipe, which I credit to my son who got it somewhere. Cut into chunks. Brine in dill pickle juice. Use ranch dressing as a binder and roll in chicken fry. Deep fry until done. Absolutely delicious.
I’ve also deep fried them whole. Knock the head and wings off. Get your fryer going with water till it’s boiling. Dunk it for about 30-45 seconds to scald it. Feathers will come off in chunks. Pick it clean. Inject with some creole butter marinade. Then deep fry in oil like you would a normal turkey. I used to do one every year for Thanksgiving and no one could believe how good it was and that it was wild turkey.

I’d put them in my landlords fridge in the back of the studio lol I’ve had it two ways I liked. Fried and with brown, mashed taters, field peas and cornbread Done like big game mentioned on a pellet grill low and slow. Too hot and it’s turns dry

Legs and thighs in a crockpot. Add in jar of peperoncini and Italian seasoning low and slow over night or 8-10 hours.
Italian roast beef style

Italian roast beef style I don't know if it will work with the stuff you are using, but I have found that adding chicken broth to the crock pot makes the dark meat a lot better. I have tried cooking them in the pressure cooker; that makes them tender but can give them a bad flavor. That doesn't happen with the broth in a slow cooker. I have tried several ways to cook the breast, and will try BGH's recipe, but nothing I've tried is as good as frying.
