Anyone on here raise pigeons for dog training? Looking for a source possibly a loft with recall pin if I can get homers
It isn't necessary to see a good tackle...you can hear it.

There’s some Amish guys in Tennessee that catch them in their barns. I think they charge $8 a bird. If you wanna PM me, I can see about getting them for you.

Anyone on here raise pigeons for dog training? Looking for a source possibly a loft with recall pin if I can get homers If you want the birds to return to your loft you will have to raise and train them at the your loft . If you get birds from someone who has homers that have been allowed to fly at someone s loft they will return to that loft if released . My suggestion is get a few breeder pairs and raise what you need . One pair of birds will lay two eggs at a time and should hatch at least six or eight pairs before winter if you can start soon . I am in a racing Pigeon Club in central Alabama and some members should have some to many breeders and would be willing to let some go . If you are interested contact me and I can make some calls .

Soak bird seed or corn in whiskey. Put it where they feed. They get drunk and can't fly.
