My youngest shot a hog Sunday afternoon. As we walked over to trail it, we flushed two quail. That was nice little dopamine hit me. Killing a hog and seeing a quail, just doesn't get much better for me.

I keep a couple of covey at my place. They are sort of a badge of honor. Seeing them makes me feel like I’m doing things right.
