Who else collects the stones from the gobblers you kill. I started collecting them about 4 years ago and it’s really cool to see how the color rocks differ between gobblers. And most all of the stones in the craw will be about the same color and size. Some gobblers have a craw slam full while others only have a half full craw. I just wish that I would have started doing this 40+ years ago when I started turkey hunting.

Cool collection, I started several years ago but all mine are in a jar together, not individually like that.

Never looked for them. It would be one more thing for me to throw away later.

Use to know a guy that killed that many in a season in bama. If he was not married to my cousin - i would hav turned him in! Could troll thousands and thousands of acres due to his job!

It all started with having the turkeys. Come hunt a spot u may not hear a Gobb for 3 weeks 🤣🤣🤣

I dont even keep the beards or spurs anymore dang sure not collecting rocks but thats cool to see. Were the gobblers killed off the same place or off different places that have different roads etc where rock color would be different?

About half are from Bama, the rest are from travel hunting. I hunt multiple states every year.

Do you recall where the third row, first bag was from? They stand out from the rest and looks like he was picky with the shape. I can't imagine a place with that one shape being the only option.

I keep mine.

I’ve got a Blantons bottle and a Wild Turkey bottle slam full. Started working on #3 with my Washington birds at the end of last season. All mine are mixed together too.

Pretty sure that one came from Idaho last year. I was surprised too when I cut it open.
