Hey guys,
We are spending a few days of spring break at lake Martin the second week of April. I’m gonna drag the bass rig up to see if we can catch a few. Any pointers would be appreciated. It’ll be our first time at lake Martin.

Get a couple of the 5/16 accent buzzbaits and several packs of rage menace in pearl. The top water bite should be phenomenal. There are a lot of little fish but you should be able to catch the crap out of them

We fish it a few times a month. I’ll echo what Beadlescomb said but also add a shakey head and Berkley Fritz side in shad color.

What part of the lake?
I’d also add a Texas rigged trick worm in watermelon green around rocky points and docks

That’s an easy bait to get bites without chunking a wad of treble hooks around.

North part of the lake. We are staying just south of 280. I lived over in sandy creek for 10 yrs. There are some big fish up on the north end.
