1952 for me.I still get around pretty good tho. My dad use to tell me, Son, you need to take care of yourself because when you get older you will wish you had. I didn’t realize how smart that man was. Wish I would have listened to him.To much sports put a beating on the body.

And I now have to keep pliers in the kitchen. Can't open anything anymore without a pair 62 here and I'm glad somebody else has this issue.

This has really hit home lately. We lived in Tennessee when I was in grades 8-12. I graduated (1978) on a Friday and came back to Bama to work a summer job on Saturday. Three weeks later, my parents decided to move back to Bama. (Dad's health.) I never got to go back and say bye. There was no internet or cell phone and long distance calls were not cheap. Now, the guys I hung out with are starting to pass away. One passed last week that we were close to. His family went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Reading up on his death I learned the family of 7 was now a family of 3. Then it hit me that it will soon have been 50 years. 50 YEARS. Where did life go?
