What pants and shirt would you recommend for cold weather deer hunting in the Sitka Brand?

Exactly. Don’t own any Incinerator but wore my Fanatic bibs and jacket on my Illinois bow trip this year. Had two days when the low was 24 with 20-30 mph winds and I did not get cold. The jacket was a little bulky for bow hunting but I was able to draw back and kill a nice buck. Without that gear, I wouldn’t have lasted 30 minutes. For Alabama, 90% of the time I wear the Stratus pants and jacket because it’s windproof which is nice for long 4wheeler rides before daylight.

I wear entirely different clothes when I hunt in Colorado where I’m constantly adding and subtracting layers. When I’m sitting still for several hours in an Alabama stand, I just want warmth and don’t care as much about sweating.

Yep. I had the stratus bibs and jacket and they kept me comfy down into the low 20s several times with merino base layers and just a regular pair of bow season pants/shirt on under them. Switched to First Lite though because I liked their patterns better.

How bulky are the fanatics? I pack in all my outer layer and wondered if they compress much.

Not bad and they have leg zippers for venting.

If you're bow hunting and plan on all day sits I'd go fanatic over stratus. My Fanatic bibs and my Code of Silence bibs are both quiet and warm for me, even down in the single digits with my base layers.
For the guys that get cold easily or guys wanting to wear less clothes, a ground blind is the answer. They're warmer than being in a tree AND you can take a lil buddy heater smile They don't affect mature bucks like some will claim.
We brush ours in about 10-14 days before sitting but photos show deer same day.
