The Epstein files are showing that Mossad and Epstein himself coordinated with the developers to create and control bitcoin. Folks are calling it Pedo-Coin and GoyCoin now and are getting the hell away from it. It looks like its perfectly traceable by the NSA and is not really off-the grid at all. Anyway, owning bitcoin is a problem for people who dont want to support pedophile networks. Many folks dont want to admit that and are angry about it. They should be but it is what it is and a spade is a spade. bitcoin is a pedophile product.

Surely no one really believed that the powers that be would allow an untraceable currency to be developed. Especially one that commoners were allowed to access.

It was kind of obvious when they did not do anything to shut it down.

I'm glad I have always stayed mostly with ETF's.

Not that they are any better. Anytime you diversify your money across lots of stocks, at some point or another you are going to be invested in some questionable stuff.

It absorbs excess liquidity and wastes energy for sure.

It’s also not backed by any govt, operating company, business, assets, personnel, management team,or anything of tangible physical value. It has no physical use or purpose other than imputed value transfer. It’s held in an imaginary on-line crypto wallet or bank. It’s simply a number on a piece of paper with zero value to anyone other than other crypto “investors”. It’s a classic ponzi setup, that can go to zero at any time, if and when new investors decide to quit pumping additional money into it and trading it. Might as well go to a casino and put that money on n black or red. At least that’s a physical binary bet that you can watch play out in realtime. You can see immediately if you win or lose. When all the big boys and players in crypto (it’s a very small select group that control the majority) decide to cash in their chips, hundreds of thousands, if not millions, worldwide, of small individual investors will be the ones left holding the bag, or without a chair when the music stops, and they’ll lose everything they have in it.

Based on the unsealed documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, there is no evidence indicating that Jeffrey Epstein was involved in the formation of Bitcoin. Bitcoin's whitepaper was published in 2008, and its network launched in 2009, with no mentions of Epstein in any context related to its creation or early core development in the released files.

The documents do reveal Epstein's later financial ties to the broader cryptocurrency ecosystem starting around 2014, including:

Participation in Blockstream's seed funding round (a Bitcoin infrastructure company), where his investment grew from $50,000 to $500,000 via an intermediary fund linked to MIT's Joi Ito.

Emails from July 2014 show discussions involving Blockstream co-founders Austin Hill and Adam Back, but these pertain to fundraising, not Bitcoin's origins.

A potential $3 million investment in Coinbase in December 2014, routed through Blockchain Capital, with partial liquidation in 2018. Records suggest awareness by Coinbase co-founder Fred Ehrsam, though no direct wrongdoing is alleged.

Donations to MIT (up to $850,000 between 2002 and 2017), some of which indirectly supported Bitcoin Core developers through the Digital Currency Initiative starting in 2015, during a funding gap for the project.

These connections appear limited to post-formation investments, networking, and expressions of interest in digital currencies (e.g., criticisms of projects like Ripple and Stellar, or ideas for new Bitcoin-based systems).

No documents link Epstein to Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonymous creator, or any pre-2014 Bitcoin development activities. Claims of deeper influence, such as "executive direction" or code backdoors, stem from online speculation rather than the files themselves.

Interesting that this popped up today. No bailouts for bitcoin. If it goes to zero, too bad.

TREASURY SAYS IT CANNOT BAIL OUT BITCOIN

Senator Sherman asked if the Treasury could intervene to “bail out Bitcoin.” Treasury Secretary Bessent responded that he has no authority to use taxpayer dollars to buy the cryptocurrency.

Based off this thread I thought Bitcoin was worthless. I checked the price today and it’s like $72,000 for one. Which is like double from 5 years ago. Doesn’t seem too bad of a return to me.

It was $120,000 3 months ago

Why not? It's not printed notes nor gold bullion. It's just numbers on a screen that gets posted and swapped back and forth. Printed money just gets more printed and numbers sent to this account and that account. Can't redeem those numbers for gold at the credit union. Eventually we're gonna be in a situation of bartering with carrots, cabbage and chickens. Probably not too far out from today.

Virtually all currencies are fiat currencies and they are only backed by "good faith and trust" in the governments that issue them.

PS: You would be surprised at how much gold the US holds for other countries.

My financial advisor told me a long time ago that he might possibly buy bitcoin for himself but would never buy it for his clients.
