He replied back Nice! Then 5 min later he dropped his with the .308. Unreal really first deer on public land for both of us. Got 2 good bucks. Won’t ever forget this day! I’m truly blessed to be able to enjoy the good lords great creation.

Nice. Was the back leg already broke on the wide one or did it happen with/after the shot? I've seen a few kill pictures this year that had a similar break.

I've had the same happen with losing one. That's why it got my attention. If they twitch, they get more lead.

Had an almost identical setup on a clear cut one time except mine was a double ladder seat and platform. It was 42’ high. I loved that spot
